GROUNDED is a solitary space for the creative who needs time. An incubator for future GROUNDWORK alumni, a space to continue research workshopped at a former GROUNDWORK, or a retreat in and of itself, GROUNDED takes place in the “au pair suite” of Rita’s 130-year-old farmhouse. Fifty miles north of NYC but 1.5 miles from a direct train line in, GROUNDED offers space, scenery, serenity, and, if desired, city.

GROUNDED residents will have their own large (furnished) bedroom, full bath, and studio/study. Meals are provided. Shared spaces include the kitchen, laundry, and outdoor spaces including but not limited to: wrap-around porch, patio, pond/pool, greenhouse, 3 acres of forest, and a myriad of stone ruins.

Length of stay is up to you; fee is $450/week with limited fellowships available.
